In addition, we often perform FAI (First Article Inspection) and DVI (Industrial Validation File) to validate the dimensions, tolerances and visual appearance of the sealing segments before mass production. These thorough control steps ensure compliance with strict aeronautical specifications.

In the aeronautics sector, 100% dimensional check is crucial to ensure the integrity of the sealing segments. The AB Segment uses advanced measuring equipment, such as optical measuring machines, to perform precise and rigorous dimensional checks, ensuring compliance with the specific requirements of the drawings and specifications.

Sealing segments in the aerospace industry are individually packaged, thus preventing contamination, ensuring the traceability of parts and facilitating their identification during assembly.

For a clear and permanent identification of sealing segments, we use laser marking. This process makes it possible to engrave information such as part numbers, traceability codes and specifications directly on the segments, thus ensuring accurate and durable identification.

We perform rigorous non-destructive testing, such as dye penetrant inspection, to ensure the integrity of the sealing segments and the safety of the aeronautical components.

In addition to the control procedures mentioned above, Segment AB also uses light-based play controls to ensure the performance of sealing segments in the aerospace industry. These light tests detect any unwanted leakage and ensure that the segments meet performance and safety requirements.
